Job Description: 

Highly skilled Senior Data Engineering & Analytics Specialist with over 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data solutions to support our organization’s data-driven decision-making processes. As a senior resource, you will lead and mentor junior team members, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide strategic insights to optimize our data architecture and analytics capabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering, analytics, and cloud technologies, as well as proficiency in various tools and programming languages.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable data solutions that meet business needs.
3. Design, develop, and implement data pipelines and ETL processes using tools such as Azure Data Factory, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Python.
4. Create and maintain data models and cubes for analysis and reporting using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
5. Optimize performance and scalability of data solutions by tuning queries, indexes, and data storage strategies.
6. Lead the adoption of best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics.
7. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in data engineering and analytics roles.
3. Proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure (Azure Synapse, Azure Cosmos DB).
4. Expertise in data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing concepts.
5. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C#.
6. Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
7. Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM and NetSuite.
2. Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
3. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines.
