Job Description:

At AlphaBOLD, we are looking for a SharePoint Practice Manager with a successful record of leading enterprise customers for implementation and custom development of SharePoint. SharePoint Practice Manager will also need the business acumen to work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective SharePoint solutions. This role is located in Carlsbad, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, lead and mentor the SharePoint Development Team
  • Manage and track the SharePoint development sprints
  • Gather, document, review, and revise solution requirements
  • Create solution design documentation and solution patterns that can be reused by others
  • Create SharePoint solutions that exceed customer expectations
  • Conduct group and individual user training for newly implemented and custom SharePoint solutions
  • Troubleshoot and enhance pre-existing SharePoint solutions developed by yourself or others
  • Assist sales and marketing teams for the promotion of SharePoint services and solutions
  • Provide end user support for SharePoint sites and solutions
  • Assist in the development of SharePoint end-user training material

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is required. However, Masters will be preferred
  • 4+ years of SharePoint Development experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a Practice Manager
  • Experience with both SharePoint on-premises and online versions
  • 3 certifications spanning at least 2 of the most current versions of SharePoint
  • 2+ Years experience implementing large packaged SharePoint applications
  • 2+ Years of experience working with Agile methodology
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills required to effectively communicate the value proposition and technical information to a range of customers
  • Ability to manage and deliver tasks independently
  • Ability to work with remote team
  • This is an on-site role so successful candidate needs to be present or relocate to Carlsbad, CA
