Job Title: Business Central Technical Consultant (4+ years of experience)

Introduction:  AlphaBOLD is looking for an experienced and motivated Business Central Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have more than 4 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, specializing in the technical aspects of system configuration, development, and integration. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to design, develop, and implement technical solutions based on customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain custom extensions using AL programming language and ensure optimal integration with existing systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after system deployment, ensuring smooth operations.
• Work with clients to understand business processes, identify needs, and recommend the best technical solutions.
• Design and develop data migration strategies for the migration of data into Business Central from legacy systems.
• Create, maintain, and optimize reports, dashboards, and queries within Business Central using Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timelines, deliverables, and budgets are met effectively.
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical training to client teams to ensure successful adoption of the solution.
• Stay up to date with the latest Business Central features, releases, and best practices.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Business Central Technical Consultant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central architecture, modules, and functionality.
• Expertise in AL programming and a bonus would be experience with C/SIDE programming languages and experience with extensions, object-oriented design, and development techniques within Business Central.
• Proficiency in integrating Business Central with other enterprise systems and external APIs.
• In-depth understanding of SQL, SSRS, and other reporting tools.
• Experience with Power BI for developing custom reports and dashboards.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to address technical issues within Business Central.
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage client relationships effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in data migration, integration, and upgrades within the Business Central environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications, particularly related to Business Central.
• Experience with other ERP systems such as AX or Navision.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Visual Studio Code, and other development tools.
• Knowledge of Cloud-based deployment and related technologies.
